Eboni K. Williams said “F**k Bethenny Frankel” amid the explosive Vanity Fair exposé against Bravo, over the network’s alleged mistreatment of its stars.
Both ‘Housewives’ were interviewed for the article, amid Bethenny’s call for a reality show union.
The 40-year-old Real Housewives of New York alum claimed Ramona Singer used the N-word slur and stated that “most” people of color don’t have present dads.
The slur allegation was eventually brought up as a complaint to Bravo, Shed Media, Warner Bros. Discovery and NBCUniversal, but Ramona denied it, and her actions were ruled “inconclusive” by an internal investigation.
According to her interview with Vanity Fair, Eboni shares no desire to join Bethenny’s ‘reality TV reckoning.’
“F–k Bethenny Frankel,” said Eboni. “You think I’m going to let some white girl speak for me with my experience with a multibillion-dollar corporation?”
Following her time on RHONY, Eboni tried to work with NBCUniversal and Bravo for the development of a new show. Explaining her decision to continue their partnership, Eboni expressed, “It is a promotional machine unlike anything you can even buy.”
Meanwhile, a source told Radar Online that Bethenny is willing to speak with Eboni, and reached out to her before the alum’s diss, though Eboni purportedly did not respond.
The insiders claimed Bethenny is willing to clear the air with Eboni, whom she “respects.”
“Bethenny respects Eboni using her voice and honors the fact that a white woman cannot speak to a black woman’s experience in entertainment or anywhere. That said, a better choice of words could have been used as what Bethenny is doing will help all women in this space. Bethenny welcomes Eboni to her podcast to use her voice and share her experience in greater detail,” said a source.
The insider also claimed Bethenny “wasn’t aware” Eboni was interviewed with Vanity Fair, and Bethenny reached out to Eboni because “she had heard and read that she [Williams] had a negative experience and wanted to have her on the podcast.”
According to Radar, Ramona will appear at BravoCon this weekend in Las Vegas despite the allegations.
