Frank Catania and Brittany Mattessich are engaged.
In a post shared to Brittany’s Instagram page on Sunday, she confirmed that she and the Real Housewives of New Jersey star, who is also the ex-husband of cast member Dolores Catania, 52, are one step closer to tying the knot as she showed off her engagement ring and the cast reacted.
In an October 29 clip shared by Pretty Planners & Events, the setting of Frank’s proposal was seen.
“In the world of love, we help create fairytales. Grateful to [Frank Catania and Brittany Mattessich] for choosing us for this incredible moment,” the company wrote.
Then, in Brittany’s post, a series of images were seen.
“We’re Engaged!!!!” Brittany announced on October 29. “I’m so excited to start this next chapter with you along with all the other good things we have going on… Thank you for being you [and] making me the happiest girl in the world. I wouldn’t want to do this life with anyone else other then [Frank Catania] love you so much my fiancé.”
In one photo, Brittany showed off her engagement ring.
Following the sharing of the post, Brittany and Frank were met with tons of supportive and congratulatory messages, including several from the RHONJ cast.
“Congratulations!!! We are so happy for you,” wrote Danielle Cabral, 38.
“Omg Omg!!!!” said Melissa Gorga, 44.
“Omg YAYYY!!!” exclaimed Jackie Goldschneider, 47. “Congrats lovebirds!!”
Dolores’ boyfriend, Paul Connell, shared, “Congratulations you to love birds.”
And also in the comments, Margaret Josephs, 56, said, “Congratulations on the happily ever after !! So thrilled for you both !!”
Although Dolores doesn’t seem to have reacted to Frank’s news quite yet, the ladies have always gotten along and spend time together frequently.
“Dolores and I get along great and she could not be any nicer to me,” Brittany revealed in February during a Q&A on her Instagram Story.
During the same Q&A, Brittany spoke of her relationship with Frank, saying they “never fight” and that it is “very rare for [them] to have a disagreement.” She also explained how they met.
“Frank trained me for my bikini competitions,” she wrote.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey season 14 is expected to premiere on Bravo sometime in early 2024.
