Looks like Mariah Carey is being sued over her classic Christmas song, ‘All I Want For Christmas.’ According to TMZ, two men are claiming they wrote a song with the same name and are seeking $20 million in damages.
Andy Stone and Troy Powers have a holiday song that you made in 1989 and has the same title as Mariah’s hit song. The news outlet reported that the two men filed a suit last year where Andy Stone claimed Mariah stole their song. In the new documents obtained by the publication, Stone and Powers claim there are “substantial similarities in the lyrical hook, melody, and overall feel” compared to their song.

In the lawsuit, Stone and Powers stated Mariah has “palmed off these works with her incredulous origin story, as if those works were her own.” TMZ says they have reached out to Mariah’s team for a comment but haven’t received a response yet.
