RHONY Alum Ramona Singer's Alleged Racial Behavior Takes Heat Off Andy Cohen and Bravo Execs as Fans Call Vanity Fair Exposé a "Total Flop"

The claims of racially charged comments made by Ramona Singer have taken the heat off of Andy Cohen and other Bravo executives following the release of Vanity Fair’s exposé about the Real Housewives franchise.

After the article put a spotlight on the Real Housewives of New York City alum’s shockingly offensive behind-the-scenes behavior on Monday, insiders are saying that Ramona, 66, has actually offered the network a reprieve as fans complain about the regurgitated tea shared in what was supposed to be a bombshell publication.

“This Vanity Fair ‘exposé’ is a total flop,” TV Deets declared in an October 30 message on X, formerly known as Twitter. “We went from talking about equal pay, treatment, and residuals, to spending multiple paragraphs on Leah McSweeney‘s drinking. Uhm… ok???”

“We’ve heard these stories before,” said a Bravo fan page. “It’s a flop because the women featured in the article aren’t fan favorites.”

Other Bravo accounts are being so weird about this @VanityFair article. It’s a flop because we’ve heard these stories before. It’s a flop because the women featured in the article aren’t fan favorites.

“So the Vanity Fair article was a total flop. I thought [Bethenny Frankel]’s crusade was all about equal pay…it’s really just about bashing the network and throwing any sh*t against the wall to see what sticks,” wrote another.

Meanwhile, someone else shared, “This Vanity Fair Bravo ‘exposé’ … I knew it would flop but not even an excerpt or nothing has made it onto other major publications or popular twitter accounts. If you’re a [Real Housewives] viewer, this is all obvious.”

Others suggested the piece was a “massive flop and overhyped article mess” as someone else accused the magazine of being in its “flop era.”

Meanwhile, an October 31 report from Page Six said that while it was anticipated that the 8,000-word piece would serve as a punishment for Andy, 55, and others related to the network, including Lisa Shannon and John Paparazzo, who work with Shed Media, the production company behind RHONY and Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip, they were practically unscathed as the claims surrounding Ramona took center stage.

As RHONY fans have surely heard, Ramona was accused of suggesting that most Black children come from single-parent households during a racial sensitivity education class — and of using the n-word during a discussion with a production worker.

Amid the class, the leader had told Ramona and her castmates to refrain from speaking of racist tropes. However, Ramona allegedly asked in response, “What if they don’t have a father? Why can’t I say that? Most of them don’t.”
