Kim Kardashian Reveals North West Prefers Staying At Dad Kanye West’s Apartment Because There’s Bo Nanny, Chef, Or Security
These days Kanye West seems to enjoy the simple things in life and it looks like his daughter North West does too.
On the latest episode of The Kardashians on Hulu, Kim Kardashian sits with sister Kourtney Kardashian where they talk about their parenting styles. During that conversation, the 43-year-old SKIMS billionaire revealed that her ex-hubby has completely switched up his living style and has opted for less luxury. It is something that their daughter North appreciates a lot which is why she prefers to stay with him.
Kim, who still lives in her $60million Calabasas home they shared, said: “North, she’ll go to her dad’s, she’ll be like, ‘Dad is the best. He has it all figured out. He doesn’t have a nanny. He doesn’t have a chef. He doesn’t have security. He lives in an apartment.’ And she’ll start crying, ‘Why don’t you have an apartment? I can’t believe we don’t have an apartment.’”
Kim talks about her struggles with parenting North West:

Kourtney, 44, who has Mason, 13, Penelope, 11, and Reign, 8, whom she shares with ex Scott Disick, explained how she could relate:
“They do that at Scott’s too. Like, ‘Dad has the best house. Your house sucks. He has the best house, it is not super big. The vibes are better,’” the Poosh founder shared. “I feel like everything falls on the parent that is more involved.”
Meanwhile, Kim who shares North, Saint, 7, Chicago, 5, and Psalm, 4, with Kanye went on to say, “They make their own food. That is amazing that you make Ramen,” to which Kourtney hilariously added, “You boil water and pour it onto some noodles.”

It seems like the ex-couple has been holding up pretty well since calling it quits in 2021 after nearly seven years of marriage. Their divorce was finalized in November 2022, and have since moved on with different people. However, following Kim’s relationship with Pete Davidson, she’s focusing more on herself and her kids. On the other hand, Ye is now with his new wife Bianca Censori.
Instead of a new man in Kim’s life, she recently revealed that she hired a manny to help out with her kids. “I recently hired a manny [male nanny] because I really wanted a male around that was going to be picking them up and taking them to sports,” she said in the October 19 episode of the Kardashians. “I was scared out of my mind to tell their dad that.”
Kim also shared that she was surprised that Ye even got along with the nanny. “When he was dropping off the kids, Kanye introduced himself and played [soccer] with Saint and him. He was so nice to him,” Kim added. “He said, ‘Hey, if you are going to help raise my son …’ Because [the nanny] handed [Saint] the ball really easily and [Kanye] said, ‘Don’t do that. Make him go get it himself. These are some of the rules I would want.’”
