Page Six reports that Peacock could table RHUGT Morocco in light of Caroline Manzo’s sexual assault allegations against Brandi Glanville.
It seems that the Moroccan installment of the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip may never see the light of day, according to a new report.
Sources tell the gossip outlet that Bravo is considering tabling the Peacock Real Housewives spinoff following Caroline Manzo’s sexual assault allegations against Brandi Glanville.
“‘Ultimate Girls Trip’ Morocco is probably never going to air, and now they are thinking about tabling ‘[RHONY] Legacy’ also,” one insider shares.
“NBC is really pissed off because they feel like Bravo let [production company] Shed ruin multiple shows, ‘RHONY’ obviously [being one].”
However, a source close to Peacock insists that the RHONY Legacy installment of RHUGT will air as scheduled in December, while no official decisions have been made regarding Ultimate Girls Trip Morocco.
The first source notes that Bravo’s plans for RHUGT Morocco remain up in the air amid the growing number of lawsuits that are bringing heat to the network.
The butler from season 2 of RHUGT has filed a sexual abuse lawsuit against Bravo. RHONY alum Leah McSweeney also has a forthcoming lawsuit against the network following her discrimination complaint filed back in March of this year.
Another source reveals that “there is speculation” about the fate of RHUGT but Bravo does plan to promote RHUGT: RHONY Legacy at BravoCon this weekend. This all will happen despite star Ramona Singer being uninvited from BravoCon. The RHONY OG was cut from BravoCon after using partial racial slur in a text to a Page Six reporter while attempting to clear her name following bombshell allegations made against her in Vanity Fair‘s Bravo expose.
“‘RHONY Legacy’ is still going on at BravoCon, and the trailer premiere still going ahead as planned, so no decisions have been made,” the source reveals, noting that it “will be an enormous elephant in the room.”
“The speculation is not coming from higher-ups, but people internally are wondering,” the source adds.
The trailer for RHUGT: RHONY Legacy will premiere this weekend.
As AllAboutTRH previously reported, some major drama went down before filming wrapped on RHUGT Morocco, resulting in both Brandi Glanville and Caroline Manzo exiting the trip early.
Insiders claimed that the early exits from filming came after Brandi allegedly bombarded Caroline with kisses without her consent.
“It was unwanted,” a source told PEOPLE at the time. “And Caroline’s distress over the matter did not seem to stop Brandi. Things escalated, and physical boundaries allegedly were crossed that Caroline felt were serious and uncomfortable.”
Producers then decided to remove Brandi from the trip after sharing Caroline’s concerns with higher-ups at Bravo.
Brandi has since denied allegations that she crossed the line with Caroline and insists she simply was following productions memo to have “fun.”
“If anything like that actually transpired. I would’ve thought that production would’ve stepped in,” Brandi told Page Six in September.
“The longer they push [the season] back, the more speculation there is,” she continued. “I just want it to air and be done, so everyone can have their takeaways.”
Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Morocco also stars Vicki Gunvalson, Eva Marcille, Phaedra Parks, Camille Meyer, Alex McCord, and Gretchen Rossi.
A new season of RHUGT will begin streaming on Peacock in December.
