After dodging engagement rumors for years, Ridley finally confirmed that she and Bateman had tied the knot while speaking to Rolling Stone in January 2023. “Yes! I got married,” she said when asked about her ring, but she didn’t share any more details.

In a January interview with AP promoting her movie “Sometimes I Think About Dying,” Ridley also announced she and her husband will work together on another film together. “I am starting a movie on Monday that I had the idea of and that my husband has written and that I’m starring in, of course,” she said jokingly, adding, “It’s very exciting.” The film called “Magpie,” is about a woman who is pushed to her limits when her daughter is cast in a movie, and her husband — who is the daughter’s chaperone on set — begins falling in love with the actress who’s playing their daughter’s mother.

Apart from their new movie, the couple have been enjoying married life by vacationing in Ireland in April, per People, and appearing at an event hosted by British jewelry brand 886 by The Royal Mint a month later.
