Lil Yachty has become the latest celebrity to learn firsthand about self-defense from viral trainer Dale Brown. According to Complex, Brown is the commander of Detroit Urban Survival Training.
Additionally, Brown has amassed hundreds of millions of views on social media by teaching self-defense to everyday people — and even sometimes including celebrities in the mix.

Dale Brown Hints At Meet-Up With Lil Yachty
Earlier this week, Brown took to Instagram to share a photo of himself and a child named Indira posed alongside Lil Yachty. Complex notes that it is unclear whether Indira is Brown’s daughter.
In the photo, the trio stood in Brown’s signature pose — a raised eyebrow with touching fingertips.
Additionally, Brown captioned the photo with brief words.

Yachty Learns Self-Defense
Then, on Monday, Brown returned to Instagram to give fans a full glimpse of Yachty’s visit with him. Brown shared a video that showed him testing various self-defense techniques on the rapper — some which showed Brown almost dislodging Yachty’s arm and others which showed Brown twisting the rapper’s fist.
Brown’s actions elicited strong replies from Yachty, who ultimately expressed satisfaction from the few demonstrations he engaged in with Brown.
“I don’t need to learn no more,” Yachty jokingly said toward the end of the clip. “You got it.”
Brown declared Yachty “safe” and then spoke to the camera.
“Lil Yachty is safe on stage at all times now — run up on him like they did Dave Chapelle, and you’re going to get taken out,” Brown stated. “He’s ready.”
