More Artist Friendly is on the way. Following conversations with DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia, Jonny Capeci of Nightly, and Mickey Guyton, Orville Peck will join Joel Madden on the latest episode of the series.
Since his arrival, Peck has become synonymous with the queer side of country music. With his 2019 debut album, Pony, the fringe-masked musician proved that punk and country are alike while rocking a dark baritone and breaking genre conventions. His follow-up, 2022’s Bronco, explored those freedoms more deeply. From his friendship with drag queen Trixie Mattel to crooning about his lovers, Peck offers necessary representation in country music. You can also catch Peck live at his upcoming Rodeo festival, which serves as a three-day celebration of country music, comedy, drag, and more.
