According to RadarOnline, Keke Palmer has been granted sole custody of her infant son, as well as a temporary restraining order against his father and her ex-boyfriend, Darius Jackson. He has also been ordered to turn over his handgun to police after shocking images surfaced of alleged abuse.

As we previously reported, on Thursday (November 9), Keke Palmer, 30, filed for a protective order against her son’s father Darius Jackson, 29, along with filing for sole legal and physical custody over their 8-month-old son, Leodis “Leo” Andrellton Jackson.
Per Page Six, Keke was allowed to give her son’s father joint custody but refused to. At the time, it was unclear as to why she decided against sharing custody. However, it was next revealed by US Weekly that Keke filed for a restraining order against Darius, alleging that on November 5, 2023, he “trespassed into [her] home without [her] knowledge or consent, and threatened [her] before] lunging for [her] neck, striking [her], throwing [her] over the couch and stealing [her] phone.”

In her filing, Keke claimed that she possessed security footage from inside of her home from an alleged incident that happened in February 2022.
She continued to allege that there were also “many instances of physical violence,” with her son’s father allegedly “destroying [her] personal property, including diaries and prescription eyeglasses, throwing [her] belongings into the street, throwing [her] car keys to prevent [her] from driving away, hitting [her] in front of [their] son, spewing profanities about [her] to [their] son, threatening to kill himself with a gun if [she] left him, harassment, and other physical and emotional abuse.”
Keke also noted that her relationship with Darius has “finally ended for good,” as of early October, “primarily due to the physical and emotional abuse inflicted” on her by him. Since 2021, they have been on and off.

After news broke of Keke’s filings, Darius took to his official account on X, formerly Twitter, and shared a photo of him and his son, captioning it, “I love you son, see you soon.” From there, Darius’ brother, ‘Insecure‘ actor Sarunas Jackson, 33, entered the chat with a scathing post and delete, which then prompted Keke’s mother, Sharon Palmer, to break her silence, alleging Sarunas is “abusive and disrespectful to women just like his little brother Darius.
Since both families chiming in, RadarOnline is now reporting that Keke Palmer has been granted sole custody of her 8-month-old son, as well as a temporary restraining order against Darius Jackson.

The publication reports that a Los Angeles Superior Court judge signed off on Keke’s TRO, ordering Darius to keep 100 yards away from her and their son. As part of the order, Darius has also been given 24 hours to turn over all weapons in his possession to police, again as Keke claimed that he owned a handgun, and previously threatened to “kill himself with a gun” if she ever left him.
The site reports that any weapons will be stored until their case is closed. In addition to the TRO being granted, Keke has been given sole custody of her son until further notice, with Darius not be allowed visitation for the time being.
According to the site, the judge scheduled a hearing for December 5, 2023, to determine whether the orders will become permanent.
