Vanderpump Rules star Lisa Vanderpump just threw some major shade at Teddi Mellencamp!
During an interview at BravoCon, the RHOBH alum compared her former co-star to a pit bull. It sounds like a gauntlet has been thrown. This should get interesting, as it so often is!
As fans know, Lisa and Teddi often go after one another. This time, at BravoCon 23, Lisa took a sharp left jab at Teddi during an interview with Variety, saying, “You know like Tamra [Judge] just said to me, ‘Oh! I love your little dog! I just rescued a pit bull,’ and I said ‘Oh, that’s a nice way to talk about Teddi Mellencamp.’”
As fans will recall, it’s not the first time shade has been thrown in either direction. In fact, over the years, the back and forth between the two has been dizzying. They’ve been at it ever since before puppy-gate in 2019.
In 2020, when Teddi left the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills after season nine, Lisa said, “I don’t know, people said because she was boring. I certainly didn’t have a good experience with her, so boring would be one of the nicer things that I could say.”
The actress went on to cast dispersions on Teddi’s business, ALL IN by Teddi, saying, “Something about 500 calories a day. I don’t know how anybody can survive on 500 calories a day. I think I eat 500 calories between 2:30 and 4:30 a.m. when I’m up in the night.”
More recently, in 2022, we reported on the famous daughter of John Cougar Mellencamp discussing her rocky relationship with Lisa during an episode of Watch What Happens Live, saying, “Um, I don’t necessarily say we made amends. We made peace.” Of course, that was then, and much has happened since.
Back over on Instagram, fans had mixed feelings about the shade Lisa was casting. Some took Teddi’s side, with one writing, “She wouldn’t say it to her face though.”
Of course, numerous fans disagreed with the commenter, and by and large most fans gave props to the Vanderpump Rules matriarch, writing things like, “I actually like LVP (since she left the show). I have to support a fellow Brit. This was funny Teddi the dull Bull!”
Another fan wrote, “Oh how I miss LVP on RHOBH. Shade master in such a fun way.” Someone else said, “The queen needs to come back!!! Love her British humor!” All in all, it seems only a smattering of fans had anything to say in Teddi’s defense. What do you think? Does Teddi deserve all this grief?
Teddi also took to Twitter to react to Lisa’s shade by actually taking it in stride.
