Andy Cohen Addresses Jenna Lyons’ Future on RHONY

Rumors have been circulating for some time that RHONY fan favorite Jenna Lyons may not be returning to the second season of the rebooted show.

Not only has she given this vibe in interviews, but Jenna was a no-show at BravoCon last weekend, which also got fans talking. This is especially the case since some of her RHONY co-stars were in attendance. Now Andy Cohen is speaking out about her time on the show. Also, he is denying a claim that he would like to see Diana Jenkins return to the RHOBH. 

Many fans first got the idea that Jenna might be considering not returning to the show back in September. The RHONY star appeared on a podcast where she seemed less than excited to have Housewives as a part of her legacy.

In the interview on the Shut Up Evan podcast, she said, “I don’t want it to become my defining moment, and it’s tricky because I had a career prior to this — a relatively large one — and I don’t want this to become my calling card.”

As fans know, Jenna has had an impressive career in fashion. She was even the executive creative director and president of J Crew. She began working with the company in 1990. Many viewers of RHONY were already familiar with Jenna because of her career in fashion.

Regarding her potential exit from the RHONY, Andy spoke to Hollywood Life at BravoCon and had this to say, “There is a narrative in the press, but we haven’t had any serious [conversations]. I hope she does [stay] is the answer.”

Though the ratings for the RHONY aren’t as high as Bravo would have liked, it’s clear to see that the network is impressed with the new season. As many fans would probably say, Jenna is perhaps one of the biggest reasons for the show’s success. It would be a real shame to lose her so soon while the show is still rebuilding.

Andy also recently denied a claim that he stated during BravoCon 23 that he would like to see Diana return to the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

The fake quote attributed to Andy claimed that when asked which RHOBH housewife he wanted to bring back, he mentioned Diana’s name and added, “She was at the level I want to show I’m at.”

After @Philly.diva shared the quote on Instagram, Andy took to the comment section of the post to deny he ever made this statement.

“This is a made up quote folks. Never mentioned DJ once all weekend, nor was I asked,” wrote Andy.

Diana also reposted the quote on her Instagram page, showing appreciation to Andy, but has since deleted her post.

It’s unclear if we’ll see Diana return to the Housewives franchise. She seemed to be a great pick, but only lasted a single season on RHOBH.
