Southern Charm star Craig Conover and Summer House star Paige Desorbo pondered a Vegas marriage during day three of BravoCon 23 which caused Craig to panic.
The event, on Sunday, Nov. 5, saw Craig reveal that he and Paige took a considerable step in their relationship.
Speculation has swirled about the two getting hitched while in the City That Never Sleeps but, it’s still anyone’s guess if and when that would go down. During a panel with Kate Chastain, Gizelle Bryant asked Craig, “Are you all engaged or you’re dating?”
Craig admitted, “No, we’re not engaged. But we’re dating.” He also added that it seems to be the number one question with fans, “When are you getting engaged?” That’s when Craig said Paige asked him, “Why don’t we get engaged?”
Gizelle described how, since people were asking her about it, she said, “Somebody’s going to jail, and somebody’s getting married. So, come on!” With a big grin on his face, the Southern Charm veteran suggested, “Maybe we’ll do that.”
Kate then brought up the question, “Who’s more likely to get a tattoo?” between the four on stage, and it was agreed. “Someone’s getting married and someone’s getting a tattoo” because, as Craig said, these are “all the things that happen in Vegas!”
During the “It’s All About to Go South” panel hosted by Anthony Allen Ramos, Craig said that Paige had suggested the two tie the knot in Vegas because both of their families were there for BravoCon. Anthony asked if the families had met yet and Craig confirmed, “Yeah. They met at BravoCon 2023.”
He then confessed that he got nervous when the subject of a Vegas marriage came up.
“In a weird twist of fate, Paige was like, ‘both of our families are here. Why don’t we just get married in Vegas? Let’s do it,’” said Craig. “And I got, I started to panic. I was like wait what? Oh wait wait.”
As it stands now, though, nothing is written in stone, but it will be interesting to see what happens next. Of course, over on Instagram, fans are not necessarily on board with the whole marriage idea.
In fact, one fan went so far as to extol, “Craig, if you are reading this, please do not marry Paige. If a woman is in love and knows, you are the one, she would’ve been all in with you within one year of dating you. She clearly is not all in. It would be the mistake of your life.” It’ll be anyone’s guess if he takes the advice or takes the huge next step and gets hitched. Clearly, the two have considered it.
