Gordon Ramsay has surprised the world with the announcement of his sixth child being born.
In an unexpected Instagram post this mourning, he shared photos of the new baby and happy mum, Tana.
In the first photo, he plants a gentle kiss on his newborn’s head as the baby is held by Tana. The next photos show the beaming mother post-labour, with both mum and child covered with a grey baby blanket.

“What an amazing birthday present please welcome Jesse James Ramsay, 7lbs 10oz whopper!! One more bundle of love to the Ramsay brigade!!” the chef said. His own birthday is on November 8, which he also shares with his daughter Tilly.
“3 boys, 3 girls…. Done 👊🏼❤️❤️” he added definitively.
His Gordon, Gino and Fred: Road Trip co-star Gino D’Acampo wrote a cheeky congratulatory message: “FANTASTICO, still plenty of lead in that pencil!!!! 😎 Congratulazioni.”

Our very own Hugh Jackman wrote “Congrats mate!”, while Masterchef Season 11 winner Chef Kelsey wrote, “Ahhhh so much congratulations and love to the entire family! All the baby feels.”
“Congrats You’ve got your own culinary brigade haha ❤️🔥” wrote Chef Dafne, a former contestant on his show, Hell’s Kitchen.
The chef, 57 and his wife Tana, 49 also share five older children, most of them already adults. Their eldest is Megan Ramsay, 26, followed by twins Holly Ramsay and Jack Ramsay, 23, then Tilly Ramsay, 22, and Oscar Ramsay, four. Jesse James Ramsay is the last to fill out their “brigade”.
