Darius Daulton Jackson is reportedly denying being abusive towards Keke Palmer. According to TMZ, sources close to the actress’ co-parent explained the recent altercation in home footage screenshots.
Last week, Keke and Darius swept media headlines and shook social media after Palmer filed for full custody of their son Leodis. Not only that, the entertainer also requested a restraining order against Darius Daulton Jackson.
A judge granted Keke Palmer a temporary order and temporary custody of the child. Darius is banned from being within 100 feet of Palmer or Leo and has no visitation rights for the time being, per Radar. The former pair, who split in October per Keke, reportedly have a court hearing on December 5 regarding the orders.

Darius Daulton Jackson Source Explains What Led To Recent Altercation With Keke
In the initial filing, Keke Palmer provided screenshots of alleged violent, physical interactions with Darius. Home footage screenshots dated November 5 show Darius Daulton Jackson seemingly grabbing at Keke’s hands before yanking her off her couch.
A source close to the young father confirmed the November incident began with Darius requesting to take Leo to watch football. The source says Darius texted Keke, and when he arrived for pick-up, the infant was not at home.
It’s unclear if Keke had agreed to let Darius take the child before his arrival. In her court docs, she alleges Darius trespassed into her home.
Leo’s absence reportedly sparked an argument. Sources say Keke called her mother, Sharon Palmer, during the argument. Sharon had allegedly been “screaming [at and] cussing Darius out” and threatened to “put a bullet in his head.”
As shown in the home footage screenshots, Darius Daulton Jackson then tried to wrestle the phone from Keke’s hands.
Keke Palmer says police advised her to file a restraining order. Meanwhile, TMZ’s sources say police found no “probable cause to arrest [Darius] for domestic violence.” He denies abusing Keke.
Amid that interaction, Darius’ mother texted Sharon Palmer, saying she planned to file a police report for the bullet threat. Sharon shut Jackson’s mother down, alleging Darius has “choked his own sister” and has “anger issues.”
“…If [Darius] attacks my daughter in her own [home] where she pays the bills, he is trespassing, and anything can happen, so he should stay away. You should be very ashamed to have raised a man who fights women,” Sharon texted back.

Keke Palmer Details Abusive Actions By Darius
The November incident isn’t the first, Palmer revealed in court docs. Home footage screenshots from February 2022 show Darius confronting Palmer near a staircase before allegedly slamming her into them.
The night before that confrontation, Keke said he slammed her on the bedroom floor and slapped her in the head. That situation, she alleges, began with Darius being jealous over a bikini photo.
Incidents like these have plagued their relationship since they started dating in June 2021, Palmer said. Darius allegedly created a cycle of love bombing her, only to get “extremely distant and cold over a perceived insult to him.”
Keke also stated that some of his alleged violent outbursts have also occurred in front of their eight-month-old son. This includes a September 2023 interaction where Darius Daulton Jackson allegedly got frustrated over the baby’s crying. When Keke tried to grab the child, they had a “tug of war with Leo” before Darius allegedly let go and “hit” Keke in the head as she tried to calm the infant.
She also claims Darius has destroyed her personal property in the past, including her prescription glasses and journals.
Sharon Palmer defended her daughter in a video on Thursday (November 9). This happened after Darius’ older brother, Sarunas Jackson, seemingly suggested Keke was the “most disgusting, vile, abusive, manipulative person” he knows. In her testimony, Sharon said she let Jackson know “over a year ago” about his brother’s abuse. In a comment on TSR’s Instagram page, he denied parts of that alleged conversation.
