Summary

Frozen stars Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff reunite, sparking anticipation for the third movie. Anna and Kristoff’s engagement at the end of Frozen 2 sets up potential storylines in the third installment, which is currently in development. Details about Frozen 3 are scarce, but the podcast series Frozen: Forces of Nature may provide a compelling storyline and new characters to keep audiences engaged until the movie’s release.

Frozen stars Kristen Bell and Jonathan Groff reunite in a new image, as anticipation for the third movie grows. Disney’s animated franchise began in 2013, exploring the bond between Anna and her sister Elsa, whose ice powers affected the kingdom of Arendelle in many ways. As the Frozen movies, praised for their visuals and songs that include “Into the Unknown” and “Let It Go,” continue to grow in popularity, the characters of Anna (Bell) and Kristoff (Groff) have become fan favorites, and they were engaged at the end of Frozen 2.

In a recent Instagram post, Bell reunited with her co-star, as fans await more news surrounding Frozen 3. Check out the image below:

The carousel features two photos of Groff, one where he’s smiling alongside Bell, and another of him wearing a bicycle helmet. In her caption, Bell wrote that while in New York City, she “snuggled with old friends” and attended three Broadway productions, including Groff’s own Merrily We Roll Along and Gutenberg! The Musical!, which stars Olaf actor Josh Gad.

What To Expect From Anna & Kristoff In Frozen 3

Elsa, Anna, and Kristoff embrace Olaf in Frozen 2.

Kristoff proposed to Anna at the end of Frozen 2, and she was crowned Queen of Arendelle, with Elsa choosing to stay in the Enchanted Forest. Following the events of that film, Disney teased what happened to Anna and Kristoff through Arendelle: A Frozen Dining Adventure, a live-action experience included on the Wish cruise. The performance involves an engagement ceremony, but not a wedding, so it will be interesting to see how much time passes between the second and third installments, and if their marriage is a significant storyline.

Frozen 3 was announced in February, and while details remain scarce, the podcast series Frozen: Forces of Nature revealed that Anna, adjusting to her new role as Queen, was drawn back to the Enchanted Forest with Elsa. Whether it affects Frozen 3 or not, the show may still provide a compelling plot and original characters to help tide audiences over until the third movie arrives.

When it comes to Anna and Kristoff, both Bell and Groff will likely return for the next Frozen film, and their latest off-screen reunion should make audiences even more eager for it. It will be interesting to see if Groff’s role changes at all, once the characters get married, and what kind of adventures await them moving forward.
