Taylor Swift apparently thinks fans need to calm down when it comes to concert behaviour.
The Cruel Summer singer, 33, stopped her recent concert to ask fans not to throw things on stage as it “really freaks” her out.
During her third show in Buenos Aires, Argentina overnight for The Eras Tour, Swift addressed the crowd after a fan tossed an item on the stage.

“And just because communication means having gentle, healthy boundaries – it really freaks me out when stuff gets thrown on the stage,” the singer confessed while sitting behind a piano.
“Because if it’s on the stage then a dancer can trip on it,” she explained.
“I love that you brought presents, and that is so nice, but just can you please not throw them on the stage,” she said, concluding by telling the crowd, “I love you so much.”

A video of Swift’s address was captured and posted to X, formerly Twitter, gathering over 1.2 million views and prompting a flood of supportive messages from fans in the comments.
“This is how you communicate to your fans. Such a class act,” one person wrote.
“A beautiful dance of communication and care,” another said.
“This is why I respect Taylor, she didn’t say because it is dangerous to HER,” a third person wrote.
“She’s not just thinking about herself, she genuinely cares about her team. The people she’s responsible for as their employer,” they continued.

“She handles this so kindly and professionally. i can’t even imagine how stressful it must be to have stuff thrown at you and never know what it is,” someone else said.
One fan claimed it was a bra and flowers thrown on stage, which prompted Swift to call out the behaviour.
Fans have recently taken to throwing things at artists mid concert, with stars including Harry Styles, Drake and Bebe Rexha all being struck with objects hurled on stage.

The Is It Over Now? singer isn’t the only star to respond to this latest trend from concertgoers.
Adele warned fans mid show in Vegas not to throw anything at her, telling the crowd: “I f–king dare you, dare you to throw something at me.”
Nick Jonas also paused his performance a couple of months ago to tell fans to “stop” hurling things on stage.
After almost being hit on stage for a second time, Drake called out fans in August.
“Would’ve had to beat your a– if that hit me in the face,” the rapper warned the crowd.
