Ariana Madix believes Vanderpump Rules fans could turn on her amid the upcoming 11th season.
Following the sharing of a sneak peek at the new episodes, Ariana, 38, reacted to an Instagram user who mentioned that people watching were going to “hate” Ariana and develop a “soft spot” for her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, 40, while also clapping back at a fan who expressed pity on Katie Maloney, 36, amid their sandwich shop’s ongoing delays.
“I guess the sandwich shop will never open… poor Katie trusting in you,” the fan wrote, signaling to the many permit issues the ladies have faced in recent months.
But Ariana, who is currently starring on Dancing With the Stars, shut them down, making it clear that she is more than capable of multitasking.
“Lolling at you thinking [I’m] incapable of doing more than one thing at a time,” she replied.
As for the sneak peek shared of Pump Rules‘ forthcoming season, it showcased several tense scenes that referenced the fallout from Sandoval’s months-long affair with ex-castmate Rachel “Raquel” Leviss, 29.
In one particular scene, which came just before Sandoval was seen screaming on the ground, Lisa Vanderpump, 63, told Scheana Shay, 38, and Lala Kent, 33, that Sandoval had lost his best friend, Tom Schwartz, 40, and that his business was “up the creek.”
“Everything has gone wrong in his life,” she stated.
In the comments section of the clip, a number of fans weighed in, one of whom said they felt viewers would turn on Ariana.
“Mark my words, everyone’s gonna hate Ariana this season, and develop a soft spot for Tom,” they wrote.
Meanwhile, another added, “Then they suck … He made his own bed he has to deal with fallback.”
At that point, Ariana also spoke out, shockingly revealing that the first fans’ suspicions may be spot-on.
“Certainly wouldn’t be surprised if the audience swings that way,” she admitted.
In another comment, Ariana reacted to a fan who said they’d have her back.
“Don’t worry girl. We got you,” they vowed, along with a meme of James Brown‘s “This is a Man’s World.”
“Thank you,” Ariana replied, along with a watery-eyed emoji and a red heart emoji.
Vanderpump Rules season 11 will premiere on Bravo in January 2024.
