Boosie Badass has admitted he’s responsible for the plug being pulled on his joint album with T.I..

During an interview on The Breakfast Club that aired on Monday (November 13), the Baton Rouge rapper was asked about the project that he and Tip were once actively working on.

“We on great terms but, I mean, Tip was like, ‘The momentum failing,’” he explained. “I called him about a month ago and asked him what’s up with it. I think it’s just, like, on the back-burner right now, but it’s damn near done, bro.

“I think I’m more excited on driving it than Tip. Y’know, Tip locked in with these movies, but man, me and Tip made a hell of a[n] album. I just fucked it up.”

Boosie also clarified that he and T.I. are still planning to release their reality TV show, Raw Ass Kids, and are currently shopping it around to networks. The series follows the two rappers and their sons, Tootie Raww and King Harris.

Watch Boosie discuss the project’s status at the 15:20 mark below:

Boosie Badazz and T.I. had been beefing on and off since 2020. Though they briefly set aside their differences at one point, things went sour once again in March after the Atlanta rapper admitted that he had snitched on his cousin to avoid catching charges.

This prompted Boosie to call him a “rat” while announcing that their collaborative LP would no longer see the light of day.

The following month, Boosie revealed that he and T.I. had buried the hatchet and handled the spat like “bosses” following a phone conversation.

“It just went like two bosses handling it, man,” he explained. “First of all, we got kids who love each other. First, we wasn’t agreeing and we was going back-and-forth and, you know, he spoke how he felt and I spoke how I felt. He felt me and I felt him. I gave him an apology.”

He continued: “After we kept going back-and-forth, the things he was doing for me in my life at the time, I kinda felt bad. I kinda felt bad he was doing some real shit helping me in a lot of ways but I told him I still stand on what I stand on. When he explained it to me, we got by it. We got by like bosses supposed to get by. We ain’t let the internet or none of that bring us out of character.”

In September, Boosie said that the album would be dropping as soon as the duo could get back in the studio, saying: “Yeah, I think we’re gonna get it together. We ain’t got back in the studio yet. But I think we’re gonna get it together. We’ve been working on other shit right now.”

However, it appears those plans have since changed.

Despite this, Boosie remains as prolific as ever having released nine projects in the last five years, while T.I. is currently working on his 12th and final album, Kill the King.
