We are thrilled to announce the winners of this month’s Performer of the Month poll. The readers have spoken and the results are in!

Taking the top spot with an overwhelming 94.34% of the votes is Con O’Neill for his portrayal of Izzy Hands in ‘Our Flag Means Death’ (Season 2, Episode 8). O’Neill’s performance in the season finale was nothing short of extraordinary. His character, Izzy Hands, underwent a full character arc, transforming from an unlikable interloper to a beloved figure. His final speech about letting go of ego for the sake of the crew and his heartfelt apology to Ed were particularly moving. These moments not only showcased O’Neill’s acting prowess but also served as a testament to his character’s growth throughout the season.

In second place, with 1.29% of the votes, is Maddie Phillips for her role as Cate Dunlap in ‘Gen V’ (Season 1, Episode 7). Phillips’ performance in this penultimate episode was captivating as her character grappled with a complex internal conflict. Cate’s ordeal pushed her to the edge, leading her to contemplate a complete revolution against normal humans. Phillips’ portrayal of Cate’s struggle was both compelling and nuanced, making her a standout in the episode.

Finally, with 1.24% of the votes, we have Titus Welliver for his role as Harry Bosch in ‘Bosch: Legacy’ (Season 2, Episode 2). Welliver’s performance was solid, displaying a range of emotions as his character, Harry Bosch, continued his desperate search for his daughter. The urgency and tension in his performance made him a compelling character to watch, and his dedication to his goal added an extra layer of intrigue to the episode.

Please join us in the comments and on social media in celebrating winner Con O’Neill as well as the incredible runner-ups. Con has secured a place in the 2023 Performer of the Year competition that will take place in January 2024.
