Zahara Marley Jolie-Pitt is now a Divine 9 member! The Spelman College sophomore joined the Alpha Kappa Alpha Inc. sisterhood and came owt with her line sisters this week.
The 18-year-old had her moment as number seven in her line at her crossing ceremony. Zahara wore a black dress with mid-sleeves, stockings, black gloves, and closed-toe heels. Of course, the AKA also had her pearls around her neck.
She proudly introduced herself on her campus grounds — giving every signature AKA moment from the hair toss to the mirror hands! The crowd welcomed the “pretty” member to the Divine community with cheers.

Social Media Praises Zahara’s Upbringing Amid AKA Crossing
As videos of the Greek newbie made their rounds, Angelina’s support for her daughter’s enrollment at an HBCU came into focus online.
As TSR previously reported, Jolie congratulated Zahara about Spelman in an Instagram post last year. At the same time, a clip of the actress bussing a lil’ move alongside other Spelman families during a visit went viral.

While folks congratulated Zahara on becoming an AKA, others also praised her parents for her upbringing after being adopted.
On The Shade Room’s Instagram repost of Zahara eating up her intro, the roomies weighed in:
“So many adopted black kids never find their way back to the culture. They often feel distant and isolated. Good job, Brad and Angelina,” Instagram user @dr.cblack wrote.Â
“This is the type of transracial adoption I like to see. Zahara is fully immersed in her culture. Man I tell you Angie did right by all her kids,” @msmelissaspeaks wrote.
“I can respect that Angelina kept her as close to her roots as possible. Love that for Zahara,” @_chrissyb._ wrote.
“This is what it’s supposed to look like when parents of a different race adopt a child of another race,” @msfunkydineva wrote.
“Alright #7. She’s getting the full HBCU experience and embracing her culture. I love this for her,” @mellionaire_ wrote.
Angelina has not shared any public thoughts on her daughter becoming an AKA. Brad Pitt also has not publicly commented on her college attendance or sorority choice.
