Azealia Banks is among a growing list of stars all rushing to Cassie‘s defense after she filed a $30 million lawsuit against her mogul ex-boyfriend Diddy. Joining Kid Cudi, Dawn Richard, and Aubrey O’Day, Azealia Banks alleges that Diddy once “beat her up so bad that he sent her on a 3-week ‘vacation’ for her face to heal.”
As we previously shared, on Thursday (November 16), Sean “Diddy” Combs was hit with a massive lawsuit by his ex-girlfriend Cassandra Ventura. In her filing, she claimed that after meeting Diddy in 2005 he began a pattern of control and abuse that included plying her with drugs, beating her, and forcing her to have sex with a succession of male prostitutes while he filmed the encounters.

In Cassie’s suit, it claims that in 2018, when the relationship was nearing an end, Diddy allegedly forced his way into Cassie’s home and raped her. In a statement, Cassie has shared, “After years in silence and darkness. I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships.”
Also in the lawsuit, it was alleged that Diddy was once “so angry” that rapper Kid Cudi was previously dating Cassie that he allegedly threatened to blow up his car. Per the court papers, Cassie said that in early 2012, “Kid Cudi’s car exploded in his driveway.” A spokeswoman for Cudi eventually confirmed the allegations and said, “This is all true.”
Diddy’s lawyer, Ben Brafman, has since denied any truth to the claims of rape, abuse, and sex trafficking. Brafman said, “Mr. Combs vehemently denies these offensive and outrageous allegations. For the past six months, Mr. Combs has been subjected to Ms. Ventura’s persistent demand of $30 million, under the threat of writing a damaging book about their relationship, which was unequivocally rejected as blatant blackmail. Despite withdrawing her initial threat, Ms. Ventura has now resorted to filing a lawsuit riddled with baseless and outrageous lies, aiming to tarnish Mr. Combs’ reputation and seeking a payday.”

After Cassie’s lawsuit and allegations went viral, stars all over began to join users on social media in reaction to the shocking claims. One celebrity was Diddy’s frenemy 50 Cent, who took to Instagram and said, “Damn brother love, brother love, brother love. You out here looking CRAZY AS A MF. LMAO.”
In addition, Cassie received support from fellow Bad Boy Records singers Dawn Richard and Aubrey O’Day, both of whom were in the group Danity Kane. Dawn tweeted, “Praying for Cassie and her family, for peace and healing. You are beautiful and brave.” Aubrey also took to her Instagram Story and wrote, “Been tryna tell y’all for years. Prayers up for this queen @Cassie.”

There was even a resurfaced clip of rapper Yung Joc claiming he witnessed Diddy allegedly demand Cassie shave her head after seeing a white woman rock the style. Joining this growing list of stars rushing to Cassie’s defense is now Azealia Banks.
Taking to her Instagram Story, Azealia reposted a headline about Cassie’s lawsuit and alleged that Diddy beat her up so bad he had to allegedly keep her in hiding for her face to heal. Azealia wrote, “THIS IS TRUE. One time Diddy beat her up so bad he sent her on a 3-week ‘vacation’ to Hawaii, just so no one would see or question how her face got like that.” She added, “Another violent Hip-Hop homosexual. THIS IS WHAT MENTAL ILLNESS LOOKS LIKE FOR ALL OF YOU ARMCHAIR PSYCHOLOGISTS.”
