Lindsay Hubbard is facing dating rumors involving country singer Dustin Lynch.
After Lindsay, 37, hinted at a potential love connection, inside sources revealed details about her and Dustin’s relationship as Carl Radke, 38, discussed their “painful” split on a shelved episode of Captain Lee Rosbach’s Salty With Captain Lee podcast and their friends, including Scheana Shay, 38, Brock Davies, 32, and Kyle Cooke, 41, arrived to Mexico for what would have been their wedding day on Friday, November 17.
Regarding the nature of Lindsay’s relationship with Dustin, insiders told Page Six on November 17 that they aren’t an item and explained why she’s been spending more time in Nashville.
“There’s no truth to it. She’s been spending time in Nashville because she has several friends down there, including a friend who is also in Dustin’s circle,” one source said, adding that Lindsay is “trying to distract herself from the heartbreak” of her and Carl’s split.
The insider also noted that Lindsay’s would-have-been wedding day “will be hard” for her as a second confirmed there is “nothing going on” between Lindsay and Dustin.
On the November 8 episode of The Viall Files, host Nick Viall, 43, told Lindsay that Dustin was “on the market,” and Lindsay replied, “He says hi, by the way.”
Still, after Lindsay went to one of Dustin’s concerts and the two of them attended the 2023 CMA Awards separately, the insider insisted, “She’s been spending time in Nashville because she has several friends down there.”
Meanwhile, in a photo shared on Scheana’s Instagram Story, she and Kyle were seen with Carl’s mom, Sharon, who also moved forward with her plans to fly to Mexico, despite Carl and Lindsay’s wedding being called off.
In other images shared by Scheana and Brock, they were seen preparing to spend some time outside as Kyle enjoyed a meal at an Asian restaurant and they later went dancing.
“Holiday ready,” Brock captioned one of his pics.
Gabby Prescod, 32, was also in Mexico.
“The limit for pina coladas doesn’t exist on vacation,” she captioned a pic of herself on the beach.
Weeks before Lindsay and Carl were set to wed, Carl appeared on Captain Lee’s podcast, where he opened up about his shocking breakup from Lindsay before the episode was mysteriously shelved.
“It’s been scary. It’s been confusing. It’s been emotional. And I feel really bad with how everything ultimately played out,” Carl said on what would have been the podcast’s November 8 episode, via Us Weekly. “If I could go back and make something a little bit easier or better, I would.”
Although Carl has regrets about how his relationship with Lindsay ended, he believes he made the right choice to end things.
“I do firmly think Lindsay and I going in separate directions will be healthier for us in the long run,” he confirmed.
In recent weeks, Lindsay has claimed to have been “blindsided” by Carl dumping her — with cameras rolling, nonetheless — but Carl has denied any such thing, saying season eight of Summer House will answer a lot of questions and insisting he is just as brokenhearted as she is.
“It’s been a very painful, emotional time. So I’ve been silent trying to just process, be respectful, try to move forward, and heal properly. It’s been just a difficult situation,” he shared.
Summer House season eight is expected to air on Bravo sometime early next year.
