John Fuda on Why He Called Teresa Giudice ‘Has-Been’

John Fuda shared details about his fight with the Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice amid season 14, and revealed why he called her a “has-been.”

Last season on the show, John went after Teresa’s husband Luis Ruelas over the accusation that he uncovered dirt on the castmates through a private detective.

Speaking on “Get Real with Kim D,” John addressed calling Teresa a “has-been” during a season 14 fight.

“I think [there was a fuss about it] because [the insult] hurts her, it bothers her that I said it. I don’t think it’s as bad as half the other names I could have called her,” said John.

He then seemed to insult Teresa’s age, suggesting she shouldn’t be on the show anymore because of it: “I also think, just like an athlete, at some point in your career you age out.”

The star then shared why he called Teresa a has-been. “Look, I was called a name and I responded … I was called a drug dealer.”

According to John, the accusation made him stoop “down to her level, and I responded in the same way and called her a has-been. I don’t normally just launch out and say these things and launch out at people. I’m generally a very friendly person.”

John insinuated that Teresa threw the “first punch.”

In a clip for the upcoming season, via Us Weekly, Teresa hinted at her feud with John’s wife Rachel Fuda. “You want to be friends with Rachel … I don’t care. If they try to make up some cockamamie s–t, I’m not doing it,” said Teresa, speaking to Jennifer Aydin. “If she wants to make up, we make up. If she [doesn’t] want to make up, it’s a done deal, because I don’t need friends like that.”
