Looks like Rod Wave has more to say after Boosie accused him of sampling his song without permission.
As we previously reported, Boosie threatened to take legal action against the artist for using the hook from Boosie’s song, “Long Journey” which is also the same title as Rod Wave’s hit song. After hearing the Baton Rouge rapper’s legal threats, Rod shared a video to his Instagram story where he said, “On my momma, Boosie big bra I fw ya tell me a real number Yeen even gotta do all dat tell me a number ima pull and bring it to you!!” In a separate video posted to X, formerly known as Twitter, Wave added: “Man, you ain’t gotta sue no n-gga like me, man. I’ma pull up and make sure you straight.”

After Rod Wave’s video, it seemed like things were worked out but now the artist is sharing some new cryptic messages to his X account but it’s unclear if these tweets are directed at Boosie. “Just because you don’t know about the original song means I stole it? You dumb b****” Rod Wave then added another tweet that said, “I ain’t never stole sh*t. 5 platinum albums find you a hobby f*** n*gga.”
When the madness first went down Boosie shared a lengthy post to his Twitter account.
“HOW IS IT FOUL? ITS BUIZNESS N YOU KNOW THAT. YOU AINT GO DO THAT TO NO OTHER MAJOR LABEL WITHOUT COMPENSATING THEM WITH THEY SPLITS‼️ WHY DO IT TO A N-GGA YOU LOOKED UP TOO.

Boosie’s initial post came from an Instagram live where he seemingly accused serval artists of sampling his music without permission.
“Rod Wave ain’t the only one. Y’all better do y’all research. I done got paperwork on the way. Lot of people, it ain’t just Rod Wave,” he said.
“I love when they do that sh*t. They be giving my flowers. I be liking that sh*t when I hear it. It’s just, you gotta compensate me too. It’s a business.”
