Lil Durk and J. Cole’s“All My Life” anthem continues to rack up the accolades in the months since its arrival in May.
According to the RIAA’s database, “All My Life” is now 2x-platinum after receiving another certification on November 15.
“All My Life” earned Durk and Cole a Grammy Award nomination earlier this month. The Dr. Luke-produced track will compete in the Best Melodic Rap Performance category.
The Almost Healed standout will have to outlast SZA’s “Low,” Drake and 21 Savage’s “Spin Bout U,” Doja Cat’s “Attention” and Burna Boy’s “Sittin On Top Of the World.”

Durk revealed that getting Cole to hop on “All My Life” was an intricate process that was two years in the making.
“He went super crazy,” Lil Durk said of Cole. “It’s so crazy because we’d been talking for like, two years, and he’d always be like, ‘Send me a record.’ And I’m like, ‘I gotta find the right record.’ I’m glad I waited two years. In my eyes he a legend. If you have a chance to do a song with a legend, it be like, will you send them something just to send it, just to say you got one, or you gone make it stick. So that’s why I never just sent him a record. Cause I’m like, ‘I want something that’s gon’ stick.’”

He added: “As soon as I did the record, he was the first person to pop in my head. Like, I got it. I believe in timing. Timing is everything.”
“All My Life” would debut at No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May. Jermaine Dupri saluted Cole’s verse in the days after the track arrived.
“Yo!!! J cole verse is so in the pocket on this All My Life , i can never listen to another offbeat rapper,” Dupri wrote.
Durk has been busy as he gears up to close out 2023. He channeled his inner Tha Carter II-era Lil Wayne for his “Smurk Carter” single and then joined Bump J and Ty Dolla $ign to lend an assist on Kanye West’s track “Vultures.”
