The first baby from a married ‘Love Is Blind’ couple is on its way. According to a PEOPLE exclusive, season four stars Bliss and Zack Goytowski are expecting their first child together!
“It’s a little bit nerve-wracking, but I think it’s also such a beautiful thing,” Bliss told PEOPLE. “Babies are miracles and blessings, and I think we’ve been so open to sharing our journey and our relationship with the world, and this is our next big beautiful thing. I’m really happy, and I hope that it brings joy to other people. It’s definitely brought us a ton of joy.”
Their baby is reportedly due in spring 2024, but it already has Mama Bliss going through it! The ‘Love Is Blind’ alum told PEOPLE she’s experienced morning sickness, fatigue, and cravings for “green crisp vegetables and citrus.”
Still, Bliss feels “grateful” that her body “is able to grow a baby,” especially with Zack’s “sweet and loving” presence through her symptoms. These days, she’s also feeling “really good and happy.”
“It’s definitely really crazy, surreal. Pregnancy is a wild journey of emotions and physical changes, but we’re excited for the end result.”
How Bliss And Zack Found Out About Their Pregnancy
The couple learned of their next chapter a few months ago. Bliss said they had been “actively” trying to get pregnant, but it was still “definitely a surprise.”
She reportedly took a pregnancy test in the early morning while Zack was asleep. She planned to present him with daddy-themed gifts to announce the news. But Bliss had a trip planned for the same day, so she opted for a cake that said “I Love You, Dad” instead.
“There were tears that came to his eyes, and it was a very happy moment,” Bliss revealed.
Zack said he was “incredibly happy.” Adding, “We both really wanted this, and so we just felt really blessed that we were able to have this happen.”
Next up for Bliss and Zack is finding out their baby’s gender. However, the couple’s “top priority,” Bliss said, is having a “healthy baby.” No matter the gender, the expecting mother says their child will be “very loved.”
Bliss is also super chill about the birthing process. For now, she’s approaching birth with “no expectations” but is hoping for a “peaceful and calm” time.
Bliss Isn’t The Only Pregnant “Love Is Blind” Alum
Bliss and Zack’s journey to the alter was unlike others in the series. Zack initially proposed to Irina Solomonova, but the relationship fell apart during the post-proposal group trip to Mexico. Once back in Seattle, Bliss and Zack reunited. While on a date, he proposed, and Bliss accepted.
The couple addressed the origins of their love story while speaking to PEOPLE.
“…Our story wasn’t a straight line, but I think that’s also important for [our child] to know that sometimes things aren’t a straight line and people make mistakes and you can be redeemed and you can correct them,” Bliss said.
As for what they expect of their mini-me, Zack says they want their kiddo to “live a happy life” and spread joy. They both hope to raise “someone who makes the world a better place.”
Though Bliss is carrying the first baby from a couple produced by the series, she isn’t the only “Love Is Blind” alum expecting. Giannina Gibelli from season one is also expecting a child with “The Bachelorette” star Blake Horstmann.
