Chicago’s very own Sherm is back in the spotlight with another record set to shake up the underground.
Teaming up with fellow Windy City residents BLUPRNT, he’s dropped a club-ready song, “Real Life” on Hood Politics Records. The “Sherm In The Booth” podcast host’s latest arrives following a recent high-profile appearance at Orlando’s Home Bass.
The tech house track boasts a characteristically ensnaring groove anchored by an infectiously catchy pluck bassline. Pitched lounge vocals and sweeping synth stabs seal the track’s fate as a future peak-hour club anthem in the making.
“I’ve been such a big fan of BLUPRNT since their release ‘House In My Life’ on Hood Politics, and I knew a time would come for us to collaborate,” Sherm said. “This track immediately grabs your attention and keeps it until the last kick. Simply put, this track is BIG and brought out the best in us as producers. Hood Poli was the only label this track was going to.”
