Wale is always cool, calm, and, collected and usually stays far away from the drama but the rapper recently found himself embroiled in a whole bunch of online mess!
After news broke about singer Cassie filing a lawsuit against ex-boyfriend Diddy, even more shocking stories followed right after, detailing an instance of alleged abuse and intimidation by Diddy as depicted multiple times in the suit. Rapper and YouTuber Ant Glizzy told a story about the Bad Boy Records exec hanging Wale over a balcony after he found out about his friendship with Cassie.
While it caught everyone’s attention, a rep is now speaking out on behalf of Wale to let everyone know it’s all cap! In a statement to TMZ, the “On Chill” rapper’s rep said, “It is a fantasy written by an outsider to exploit a viral story for clicks … the author must have watched “The Five Heartbeats” on basic cable and got inspired,” his team continued. “They have never been in the same room as the people mentioned. Wale has never met Cassie or the author and was never involved in any type of altercation. He wishes peace for everyone involved in the settlement.”

More On Cassie’s Claims
Aside from that shocking story that turned out to be untrue, Cassie alleged that Diddy raped her, abused her, and also accused him of human trafficking.
Mr. Combs “raped Ms. Ventura in her own home after she tried to leave him; often punched, beat, kicked and stomped on Ms. Ventura, resulting in bruises, burst lips, black eye and bleeding; blew up a man’s car after he learned that he was romantically interested in Ms. Ventura; forced Ms. Ventura to engage in sex acts with male sex workers while masturbating and filming the encounters; ran out of his apartment with a firearm in pursuit of a rival industry executive whom he learned was nearby; demanded that Ms. Ventura carry his firearm in her purse just to make her uncomfortable and demonstrate how dangerous he is; and introduced Ms. Ventura to a lifestyle of excessive alcohol and substance abuse and required her to procure illicit prescriptions to satisfy his own addictions.”
Cassie released a statement of her own at the time saying she was speaking out “After years in silence and darkness.” She continued. “I am finally ready to tell my story, and to speak up on behalf of myself and for the benefit of other women who face violence and abuse in their relationships. With the expiration of New York’s Adult Survivors Act fast approaching, it became clear that this was an opportunity to speak up about the trauma I have experienced and that I will be recovering from for the rest of my life.”
However, just 24 hours after she filed the lawsuit, she and Didd settled their case. Bothparties announced last week they were able to resolve their issues “amicably.”
Cassie, whose real name is Casandra Ventura, said in a statement Friday evening, “I have decided to resolve this matter amicably on terms that I have some level of control. I want to thank my family, fans, and lawyers for their unwavering support.” Diddy, in his own statement, said “We have decided to resolve this matter amicably. I wish Cassie and her family all the best. Love.”
In a follow-up statement, Diddy’s lawyer said made it clear that a settlement was in no way shape or form admitting to any wrongdoing.
“Just so we’re clear, a decision to settle a lawsuit, especially in 2023, is in no way an admission of wrongdoing. Mr. Combs’ decision to settle the lawsuit does not in any way undermine his flat-out denial of the claims. He is happy they got to a mutual settlement and wishes Ms. Ventura the best.”
