Shannon Beador will reportedly “be furious” if ex-boyfriend John Janssen strikes up a romance with Alexis Bellino.
Days after John and Alexis, 46, were spotted looking “cozy” at The Quiet Woman restaurant, insiders are claiming the Real Housewives of Orange County star, 59, is quite upset at the idea of a relationship between them — and suggesting that John is already “calling and texting” the former Bravo star.
“John and Alexis are talking,” an insider told Radar Online on November 22.
Although Shannon confirmed in January that she and John had parted ways in November 2022, stating that she was “blindsided” by the split, sources said they were “definitely dating” at the time of her DUI and hit-and-run arrest in September.
“If it happens, she will be [furious],” the insider continued of how Shannon will react if John and Alexis embark on an official romance.
Meanwhile, the source also claimed John is “interested” in Alexis, and said he’s been “calling and texting” her since the two of them met at The Quiet Woman.
“I can’t believe they are dating,” another insider admitted of the “gross” situation as a third slammed John as “an a**” and “clout chaser.”
Adding to the rumors of a potential romance is the fact that Alexis’ publicist addressed her outing with John — and didn’t deny reports regarding their allegedly flirty behavior.
They “have so much in common” and “are quickly becoming friends,” he explained to Page Six, noting that they “happened to be at The Quiet Woman at the same time when they initially met, and a friendship was born.”
“Orange County is a small place so it’s not surprising they would cross paths,” he added.
As rumors continue to swirl in regard to the nature of John and Alexis’ relationship, Alexis, who split from former fiance Andrew “Drew” Bohn months ago, is also facing reports about a potential return to RHOC.
“I’m told that with Shannon Beador’s DUI arrest, producers want to follow the aftermath of that and how that has impacted the group,” Brett Staffen said on the October 13 episode of the TV Deets Podcast, via TV Deets, adding that Alexis and Gretchen Rossi, 44, have been mentioned as possible add-ons to the cast.
No word yet on when The Real Housewives of Orange County season 18 will go into production.
