Why Jack Ryan Spin-off Series Got Canceled, Actor Explains

Fans wish to find out whether Love is Blind is scripted and staged, or real. Also, is the marriage binding? Here’s all you need to know about Love Is Blind’s legitimacy and whether its weddings are real.

Is Love Is Blind real and the marriage binding?

Love Is Blind is real and its marriage bindings are genuinely legal.

As per the contestants and producers of the show, it is a hundred percent real in pairing up the couples and with the idea of getting them engaged. About the weddings, Series producer Chris Coelen previously told Bustle:

“If they choose to get married, yes, it’s a legally binding marriage.”

Former contestant Lauren Speed, who wedded husband Cameron Hamilton and is still with him, spoke to Refinery 29 and said:

“We definitely did [get married]. That’s the part that was so scary for me. This is a real legally binding marriage. This is not for TV, this is our life.”

So, we can be sure that the show is real and authentic.

Is Love Is Blind scripted and fake?

No, Love Is Blind is not scripted or fake.

According to Life & Style Magazine, the sister of Love Is Blind season one’s Mark Cuevas, Melissa Cuevas, replied to a fan on Instagram that “none” of the show is scripted or fake.

There are several reasons why the show is real. One of those is that the couples on the show are allowed to bond before they commit to a long-term relationship. Most of them already know what they want and get to have difficult conversations that could ruin or end marriages later, in the very beginning.

But most importantly, they get the chance to change their decisions before getting married. So, the weddings that happen on the show after all the drama are real.
