Robert Irwin has opened up about his “amazing” girlfriend Rorie Buckey.
Appearing on the Fitzy and Wippa with Kate Ritchie show on Friday, the wildlife guru, 19, gushed about his relationship.
“I feel like life is amazing right now and [I’m] very, very happy,” Irwin said when the topic of his relationship was brought up by host Michael “Wippa” Wipfli.

After discussing his sister Bindi, Wippa told the young zookeeper his relationship was “great news” and he was “rapt” to also see Irwin with a “lovely lady.”
Irwin was then asked about how serious his relationship with Buckey is.
The young couple have been together for around a year after they reportedly began dating in November 2022.

Wippa prodded the wildlife photographer to share how serious his romance is “out of 10.”
“Is it a 10?” the host questioned Irwin, adding, “You know in your heart when it’s a 10.”
Irwin kept his response short and sweet with this heartwarming remark: “Love is not a numbers game. You just feel it.”

Irwin and Buckey, who is the niece of the late Heath Ledger, went public with their relationship in July this year after months of relationship rumours.
The pair confirmed the rumours by stepping out on the red carpet together at the Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One Premiere in Sydney.
In August, the couple were Instagram-official after Irwin shared a sweet selfie with Buckey to his social media account.

The two have continued to make appearances on each other’s social media and have attended public events together over the last few months.
Earlier this month, the loved-up couple made a red carpet appearance at the 2023 Earthshot Prize awards ceremony in Singapore.

“I love doing life with you,” Buckey wrote to Instagram hours before the event alongside a selfie with her boyfriend.
“I Love you Rorie ❤️” Irwin responded in the comments section.
While the two don’t shy away from showing their affection towards each other on social media, it seems their relationship also has the official Irwin stamp of approval.
Last month, Bindi Irwin left a heartwarming comment on a picture Buckey posted to Instagram of her and her boyfriend.
“Love this and love you! ❤️” Bindi wrote to Buckey.
“❤️🥰” Buckey replied.
