FX has released a new teaser trailer for its upcoming mystery thriller series Murder at the End of the World. It stars Emma Corrin as a famous young detective who’s described as a “Gen Z Sherlock Holmes.” The story revolves around a murder mystery at a billionaire’s remote retreat.
A mystery series with a new kind of detective at the helm, “A Gen Z amateur sleuth and tech-savvy hacker named Darby Hart. Darby and eight other guests are invited by a reclusive billionaire to participate in a retreat at a remote and dazzling location. When one of the other guests is found dead, Darby must use all of her skills to prove it was murder against a tide of competing interests before the killer takes another life.”
A Murder At The End of The World was created and directed by Brit Marling and Zal Batmanglij, with Marling also co-starring in the series. The series also has a great ensemble cast that includes Harris Dickinson, Clive Owen, Alice Braga, Joan Chen, Raúl Esparza, Jermaine Fowler, Ryan J. Haddad, Pegah Ferydoni, Javed Khan, Louis Cancelmi, Edoardo Ballerini, Britian Seibert, Christopher Gurr, Kellan Tetlow, Daniel Olson, and Neal Huff.
The 7-episode series will start streaming on November 14th exclusively on Hulu.
