RHONJ alums Lauren Manzo and her estranged husband Vito Scalia both attend Albie Manzo’s second wedding in New Jersey at The Brownstone.
Vito Scalia and Lauren Manzo’s marriage may be over, but his decade-plus friendship with college roommate Albie Manzo remains strong.
The 37-year-old deli owner from Monroe, NY, attended Albie Manzo and Chealsea DeMonaco‘s second wedding in New Jersey on Saturday, November 25. The two wed in Piegaro, Italy, on October 25, surrounded by 85 of their closest friends and family.
Part two of Albie Manzo’s big fat Italian wedding occurred at the Manzo family’s catering facility, The Brownstone, in Paterson, NJ.
According to photos and video from Instagram, both Vito Scalia and Lauren Manzo were in attendance.
Lauren shared several photos from the wedding on her Instagram Story on Sunday, featuring her wearing a strapless black gown with a high slit.
Meanwhile, Vito Scalia was spotted in a fellow guest, Joe Desposati’s Instagram Story post, which Albie Manzo reshared.
Also in attendance were familiar RHONJ faces Ashlee Holmes, daughter of RHONJ OG Jacqueline Laurita, and Gregg Bennett, Albie’s other college roommate.
After years of speculation, it was confirmed that Lauren Manzo and Vito Scalia’s marriage was over in late October.
Vito Scalia, 37, filed for divorce from his wife, Lauren Manzo, 35, on September 5, 2023 after eight years of marriage. In his court filing, the 37-year-old listed the reason behind their divorce.
“The parties have experienced irreconcilable differences for a period of at least six months, which has caused the breakdown of their marriage, and it is apparent that the marriage should be dissolved as there is no reasonable prospect of reconciliation,” he stated.
The now-former couple continues to reside in the Wayne, New Jersey, home they mutually purchased in 2016. Lauren and Vito share one child together: a six-year-old daughter, Marchesa “Markie” Scalia.
After the news broke, Lauren opened up about the split in a video on Instagram.
“By now, you guys have seen the news that has broken. Um, just wanna let you guys know we’re all good. This has been done for a very long time. The last part of the process was filing. We were on the same page. This is something that we did together,” Lauren said at the time.
“Vito and I love and respect each other, and we continue to move forward as a family. All that matters to us is that our daughter is happy and healthy. Her privacy is important to us. We haven’t put on TV in seven years, which is why we did not feel the need for some dramatic announcement,” she continued.
Lauren also emphasized that she and Vito’s main priority at the moment is co-parenting.
“We continue to move forward with love and respect for each other, and we will always be a family. And that’s it. It’s about our daughter and her privacy because she didn’t ask to be on TV. We did. We appreciate you guys and hope you have a great day,” she added.
Lauren and Vito began dating in 2009 after knowing each other for four years. They eventually tied the knot in July 2015.
