Lauren Manzo and her ex-husband, Vito Scalia, reunited at her brother Albie Manzo‘s second wedding with wife Chelsea DeMonaco over the weekend.
Weeks after Lauren, 35, and her family traveled to Italy for Albie, 37, and Chelsea’s first wedding, which was held just after it was confirmed that Vito, 37, had filed for divorce, Albie and Chelsea wed for a second time. And in attendance were both Lauren and Vito, as well as Real Housewives of New Jersey star Dolores Catania, 52, and former cast member Ashlee Holmes, 32.
“Vito was at Albie’s wedding reception in [New Jersey]. We love to see it!” Bravo and Cocktails wrote on their Instagram Story on November 26 as Lauren was seen posing with longtime family friend Greg Bennett in another pic.
In a photo reshared by Albie on his Instagram Story, he and Chelsea were seen with Ashlee, daughter of RHONJ alum Jacqueline Laurita, 53.
“Love you both,” Ashlee had written in the caption of the original post, which was shared on her Story. “So incredibly happy for you.”
Meanwhile, in a video shared by Caroline Manzo, 62, she and Dolores were seen posing with a male friend.
Last month, after news of her divorce was confirmed, Lauren took to her Instagram page to address their split.
“I just want to let you guys know we’re all good. This has been done for a very long time. The last part of the process was filing. We were on the same page. This is something that we did together,” she told her fans and followers.
“Vito and I love and respect each other and we continue to move forward as a family,” she continued. “All that matters to us is that our daughter is happy and healthy. Her privacy is important to us. We haven’t been on TV in seven years, which is why we did not feel the need for some dramatic announcement. And we continue to move forward with love and respect for each other. And we will always be a family, and that’s it. It’s about our daughter and her privacy because she didn’t ask to be on TV — we did.”
A short time later, it was revealed by The U.S. Sun that Lauren and Vito’s breakup “was a long time coming.”
“They’ve been separated for more than a year,” their source said in October, noting that Vito “wasn’t present at family gatherings, and he would spend a lot of time in New York with his family and their business.”
“She started hinting at marital problems long before the news broke about their divorce. Some friends picked up on it, and this wasn’t a shock to her family since they were all in the know about what was really going on,” the insider added.
