Here are the most common objects that get stuck in people’s noses:
Tissue paper or cotton swabs
Crusts from picking the nose
Food items that are inhaled through the nose, such as peanut butter or seeds
Foreign objects that are inserted into the nose, such as a pencil eraser or a paper clip
If you or someone you know has an object stuck in their nose, it is important to see a doctor right away. Do not attempt to remove the object yourself, as this could damage the nose or cause the object to become lodged deeper.
