Wilson welcomed her daughter via surrogate in November 2022, announcing Royce’s birth on Instagram.
“I can’t even describe the love I have for her, she’s a beautiful miracle,” she captioned the announcement post. “This has been years in the making.”
KIIS FM shock jock Sandilands also became a first-time parent last year, with his partner Tegan Kynaston giving birth to their son Otto in August 2022.
On air last, Wilson spoke about the upcoming movie musical she’s directing in Sydney, as well as the launch of her new dating app Fluid – but, of course, the new parents couldn’t resist a chance to chat about their bubs.
Bonding over introducing their babies to new foods, Wilson told Sandilands she had just been dealing with the unfortunate situation of baby Royce vomiting on her in the early hours of the morning.
“I think my baby is allergic to eggs,” Wilson told Sandilands on The Kyle & Jackie O Show. “She just projectile vomited about 20 minutes ago.”
Sandilands sympathised with the ordeal.
“We did all that testing,” he told Wilson. “A little bit of yolk, a little bit of fish on the hand… very, very nervous with any new things for the baby. Are you in that pattern yet?”
Wilson called the food-testing an adventure, saying: “I get vomited on a bit!”
