Rabies is a hazardous and potentially fatal viral disease that affects mammals, including humans. It is essential to approach the topic of rabies with caution and take necessary precautions to prevent its spread. It is primarily transmitted through the bite or scratch of an infected animal, most commonly dogs, bats, raccoons, and foxes. The virus attacks the central nervous system, leading to severe brain and spinal cord inflammation.
Fortunately, a preventive measure is available in the form of the rabies vaccine. This vaccine has been developed to protect against the rabies virus and is considered highly effective in preventing the onset of this life-threatening disease.
