Jada Pinkett Smith is letting it be known that she and Will Smith are sticking it out after she previously shocked the world by sharing that they were separated since 2016.
During a sit-down interview with Drew Barrymore on Tuesday, Jada Pinkett said that she and the ‘Bad Boys’ star will be continuing their marriage. “I feel like maybe your and his shadow separated in a way in this book, whether they stay together forever or not,” Barrymore said. “It sounds like you’re staying together forever.”

“We’re staying together forever,” Pinkett Smith, 52, responded. “I tried. We tried,” seemingly speaking to the couple’s separation that ultimately didn’t last.
In her memoir Jada ended the book off at the Oscars slap where the world saw Will Smith put his hands on Chris Rock. While many criticized Will for his actions that night, it was a turning point for Jada. She explained, “That was the moment that I knew I would never leave Will’s side. After all those years of thinking that I would, after all those years of thinking, I’m going to get divorced, I’m going to get a legal separation… And I didn’t go in there as his wife. But I was leaving that his wife. So it showed me that love can conquer all.”
Jada has no regrets about her life. She said, “I regret nothing… we think that when life gets tough or we have challenges that we’re not worthy or something’s wrong with us, as if we’re not supposed to be challenged in life. But it’s the challenges where we find our greatest selves, and without them, we won’t.”

As for what’s next for Jada and Will it looks like there will be another book coming soon. While talking to EXTRA, Jada said they are also thinking about collaborating on a future project together. She shared, “I know Will and I are talking about writing a book, together, called ‘Don’t Try This at Home.’”
