Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has revealed why co-star Kyle Sandilands stormed out mid-show during a massive meltdown moment.
After only 11 minutes on air on Tuesday morning, Sandilands, 52, stormed off his KISS FM radio program, leaving Henderson to cancel the rest of their time slot.
The Kyle and Jackie ‘O’ Show ran re-runs instead, with the radio star still missing on this morning’s show.
As Henderson explained the incident to listeners, she seemed sympathetic to her co-host.

Executive Producer Pedro Vitola explained Sandilands has been “struggling with his shoulder,” before Henderson continued, “He’s in so much pain”.
“He sent me a message saying, ‘Honey, I’m so sorry. I’m on medication and I’m not myself. I’m in so much pain’,” she added.
“I actually feel so bad for him.”
Sandilands has discussed on-air before that he has been experiencing a rotator cuff injury resulting in a prescription for the painkiller Oxycodone.
Though Oxycodone is effective in relieving pain, it can come with some nasty side effects including confusion, light-headedness weakness, or in Sandiland’s case, “anger”.

Earlier, the team was under the impression that Sandilands had stormed off after disagreeing with Henderson when discussing COVID-19.
When it was revealed NSW Premier Chris Minns had cancelled an appearance in the studio due to testing positive to COVID-19, the argument kicked off.
As Henderson claimed COVID-19 was “just like the flu,” Sandilands became agitated, telling her she would still isolate if she had the virus and had been cautious in the past.
She shot back, saying, “I’m allowed to change my opinion,” to which he argued she needed to have some “consistency” in her opinions.

When the argument transitioned to name-calling, Kyle announced that he was going home, while listeners heard him leave in a huff.
Henderson then said, “Well, that escalated quickly,” before adding, “What’s happening today? I’m telling you, this full moon, it messes with people”.
The on-air confrontation comes less than a week after the Sydney-based duo signed a 10-year deal live on air for $200 million, extending their reach to Melbourne.
