Natalie Bassingthwaighte has hit back at critics after confirming her relationship with stage manager Pip Loth following the breakdown of her marriage.
The singer, 48, shared an emotional video on Instagram on Thursday, saying some of the troll comments have been “vicious” and “horrific”.
The Rogue Traders star said she will be blocking trolls and said: “It’s a load of crap, it’s not acceptable and I want it to stop!”

“I felt like it was really important to say thank you for the love and support I’ve received in the last little while… on the flip side, with love comes hate and I’m not a hater,” she began.
“I don’t understand how people have time to go on somebody’s page and comment so viciously and horrifically and intentionally make people feel awful, it’s not accepted on my page and I won’t have it.”
“My team will be looking at the comments and blocking anyone who says anyone negative towards anyone I love, that includes my family, cam, my kids and my girlfriend. We all deserve respect and love as we’re all human, we all bleed, cry and all suffer.”

She urged trolls and paparazzi to stop, saying you “don’t know what people are going through”.
“There are a lot bigger things going on in the world right now… I won’t tolerate it. Haters hate, I won’t accept paparazzi coming to my front door, following my friends and making up stories about us…,” she said.
“It’s a load of c–p, it’s not acceptable and I want it to stop. Be kind, you don’t know what people are going through and it’s a dangerous slippery slope.”
“Mic 🎤 drop,” one follower commented underneath.
Another added: “You go Girl!! ❤️💯 Block and delete.”
Earlier this week, Bassingthwaighte confirmed her relationship with stage manager Loth.
She took to Instagram to re-share a tribute Loth had penned.
“Appreciation post for the most incredible woman who is not only giving me strength, support, love and immense joy, but is teaching me to understand and accept that I am deserving of these things and have them within myself too,” Loth’s tribute read.
“She’s teaching me to breathe deeply, to trust and to be my truest self,” Loth’s message continued.
“I am so incredibly lucky and overwhelmingly grateful for you.”
Bassingthwaighte’s re-post came hours after she first hinted at her new romance to her Instagram followers, including snaps of herself and Loth – who uses they/them pronouns – in a video wrap-up of her day performing at the Always Live event at Flemington Racecourse over the weekend.
In the video, which also included footage of Bassingthwaighte’s set prior to Christina Aguilera’s performance in Melbourne, the Australian musician and Loth can be seen holding hands.
Bassingthwaighte’s 13-year-old daughter, Harper Rain Sinclair McGlinchey, was also at the event.
The Neighbours alum also shares 10-year-old son Hendrix John Hickson McGlinchey with her ex-husband.
Bassingthwaighte and McGlinchey’s split after 12 years of marriage was first announced in August.
The former couple are still living together and co-parenting their two children.
The Voodoo Child singer was previously married to Wollongong chef Graham Wilmott from 1998 to 2000.
