Paul Wall and Lil Keke have once again brought new heat to the streets from Houston with a song called “Swangin’ Glass.”
“Swangin’ Glass” is the third single off Wall’s upcoming album via Oiler Mobb/ONErpm which is set to release on December 15th.
The track, which pays homage to H-town’s slab culture, features the “Grillz” rapper’s signature chopped-and-screwed style, and Lil Keke’s distinctive lyrical flow. The video brings that culture to life and even features Paul Wall’s own “slab.”

Paul Wall previously teamed up with Lil Keke back in 2020 for a collaborative album called Slab Talk.
The former Swishahouse labelmates’ LP arrived at a tumultuous time, when both men were protesting the police killing of George “Big” Floyd, who had ties to DJ Screw and the S.U.C.
The Houston-bred duo’s project featured 10 tracks. Guests included Slim Thug, Big Pokey, and Kendall Thomas.
Last month, Paul Wall teamed up with That Mexican OT to drop a single called “Covered in Ice,” their second joint release of the year.
That same weekend, OT surprised the Houston legend with a gold plaque for “Johnny Dang,” their first single together, which put the Texas newcomer on the map and introduced Paul Wall to a whole new audience.
Despite being a staple in Hip Hop since 1998, the Houston rap legend’s name apparently doesn’t ring as many bells with Gen Z as he does with older fans.
Fortunately, Wall isn’t afraid to take unsuspecting music fans to school, which is exactly what he did over the summer when a Twitter user asked who the “Sittin’ Sidewayz” rapper was.
“Don’t kill me, but who is Paul Wall,” wrote user @SarahJ0seph.
Wall’s response was firm but respectful. “I’m a rapper from Texas,” he wrote in his quote-tweet response. “Along with my music, I’m known for selling Grillz with my partner @JohnnyDangandCo also known for my community work, and love for Houston sports teams. Nice to meet you.”
The Houston representer had something in store for even his biggest fans a few weeks later, who were left doing a double take after he debuted a new look.
In a video posted to TikTok in September, the Texas rap legend looked almost unrecognizable as he sported a full head of silver hair and matching beard — a far cry from his buzz cut and soul patch that was seen in classic videos like “Still Tippin’” and “Sittin’ Sidewayz.”
Only his signature gold grill and thick Texas drawl remained.
Needless to say, Paul Wall’s newfound silver fox appearance caught fans by surprise as his comments section was flooded with shocked reactions.
“THATS PAUL WALL !!!????” one user wrote in disbelief, while another added: “Ain’t no way this Paul mane.”
Someone else wrote: “I fully thought this was him playing with the old filter my 2000’s eyes can’t comprehend [crying face emojis].”
There were also plenty of people who liked what they saw, with one besotted female fan writing: “Man is aging like fine wineeeee [heart-eyes emoji].”
