Diddy’s son King Combs has addressed claims that he is associated with a street gang after seemingly repping the Gangster Disciple Killers.

In a video posted online, the Bad Boy Records heir can be heard shouting out “GDK” and throwing up hand signs known as “the rakes.”

The clip led to questions being raised about King’s gang affiliations, with Chicago rapper King Yella openly criticizing him in a video posted to Instagram.

“Why would you even try and involve yourself into a GDK movement?” Yella asked. “You were born rich and famous. What are you doing?”

Yella also claimed Combs once phoned him for advice about doing drill music, to which he told him not to because he wasn’t from “the streets.”

King Combs has since denied having any association with GDK, writing on his Instagram Stories: “I ain’t affiliated w no gangs & im not a gang member!!”

Gangster Disciple Killer refers to rivals of the Chicago street gang, the Gangster Disciples, and is most commonly used by the Black Disciples.

Numerous rappers have made reference to Gangster Disciple Killers in their music including Pop Smoke, Fivio Foreign and 21 Savage.

In his song “Exposing Me,” Pop Smoke raps: “Uh, I’m SRK, GDK/ And I play, up it to your face/ And I gang bang and we slay.”

Fivio Foreign also expressed association with GDK on his track “Big Drip,” where he raps: “You say you ain’t GDK/ What the fuck is you doin’ with me?”

King Combs isn’t the first music star forced to deny gang ties of late. Chris Brown was recently accused of being a Piru Blood after going on a rant at a Jewish influencer who criticized him for partying with Kanye West.

Brown wrote: “Let me make this perfectly clear before y’all try to use me as a pawn… Ima Piru, I ain’t Muslim or Jewish so don’t start no shit won’t be no shit!!! Im trying to be peaceful but please do not wake up the demon in me! Go on about your fucking day.”

The R&B singer later deleted the message and released an updated version that removed any reference to the Piru gang.
