Shah Rukh Khan is all set to rule the big screens yet again with his upcoming movie, Dunki. However, the movie will face competition from Prabhas’ Salaar. Ahead of the release of the movies, both Dunki and Salaar’s trailers were released. But, will Dunki’s trailer be able to break the record set by Salaar’s trailer?

Shah Rukh Khan has collaborated with Rajkumar Hirani for Dunki. The film would mark SRK’s third cinematic venture of the year after Pathaan and Jawan. While his previous two movies broke records and became blockbusters, the makers are now anticipating the same with the action-comedy. After much waiting, Red Chillies Entertainment revealed the film’s trailer.

Check out the trailer of Dunki here:

The trailer features how Hardy (Shah Rukh Khan), along with his four teammates, embarks on a journey to London. He makes every attempt to reach the UK, but the journey is filled with hurdles.

Can Dunki Trailer break the record set by Salaar?

Much like Salaar, Dunki’s trailer has also created a stir among the audience. While Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire’s trailer crossed 75 million views across all languages in less than a day, will Shah Rukh Khan starrer be able to break its competitor’s record? It might.

Within hours of its release, the Dunki trailer has already reached 6 million views. The numbers will only go up, keeping in mind the anticipation among fans who are eager to learn what the movie is about.

Apart from Shah Rukh Khan, the movie also stars Vicky Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu, and Boman Irani. The Rajkumar Hirani directorial is set for its theatrical release on December 21, 2023. On the other hand, Salaar, which stars Prabhas, Shruti Haasan, and Prithviraj Sukumaran, will be out in five languages—Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam—on December 22, 2023.
