Larsa Pippen is one of the most controversial figures on The Real Housewives of Miami.
She’s been involved with all sorts of drama with the ladies, but perhaps her most hated act is revealing to the cast that Guerdy Abraira had cancer before she was ready to tell everyone else.
Now, she is speaking to Teddi Mellencamp about having apologized and moving on from the dark situation, as well as her response when Guerdy first revealed she had cancer.
To backtrack, Guerdy first revealed that she had breast cancer in May. As fans know, the RHOM star documented her journey before finally receiving a clean bill of health and being cancer-free.
Most recently, Larsa showed up at Kathy Hilton’s Christmas Party. While there, she interviewed with Teddi, who was a special correspondent for Extra TV on the red carpet. According to Larsa, the problem is that Guerdy wasn’t super clear about who she could tell about her health issues.
She said, “First, she said you’re the first person I’m telling. Then she goes well I told my family, and I told four of the girls. Then it’s like you told four of the girls you told your family. I was so confused. And when she says keep it confidentially, we were talking about the media.”
Larsa then went on to elaborate and say that she was under the assumption that Guerdy only meant to not talk to the press about it. She believed it was okay to tell her friends to rally around her during the difficult medical journey.
Larsa also talked about the lunch scene when Guerdy first told her about the cancer diagnosis. She said she didn’t have a great response to it because they had been fighting for 30 minutes before.
Teddi then asked if Larsa would change anything about her approach after watching the situation back. To that, Larsa said, “I feel like had I known she really was sick and she wasn’t trying to test me obviously, I would have been more supportive. I would have gotten up and given her a hug and a kiss. I wouldn’t have told everyone, but we’re not friends, so I think when you’re not friends with someone, you don’t know what their intentions are. “
When asked if she would apologize to Guerdy, Larsa said that she was done apologizing to her.
