In a recent episode of Mavericks with Mav Carter, reality TV star and entrepreneur Kim Kardashian found herself facing a question that many have pondered: does she feel like she’s “made it” financially? Known for her influential presence in the fashion and beauty industry, as well as her massive social media following, Kardashian’s response provided a glimpse into her personal journey of success and self-fulfillment.
As many are aware, the concept of “making it” in life is a subjective one, as it can mean different things to different people. During the Mavericks podcast, Kardashian shared her thoughts on this topic. She said, “I’m a very competitive person, I feel very blessed.” She went on to say, “I think it’s good if you set goals for yourself, and when you achieve them it’s nothing better than that feeling of being proud of yourself.”
The beauty mogul who’s seen success thanks to her lucrative businesses and reality shows continued to say, “Like I always tell my kids, ‘im so proud of you.’ And I am so proud of them and I will at that but I also say ‘You should be so proud of yourself’ because I don’t want them to feel like they need other people’s approval and other people’s standards. You should be proud of yourself because you did that.”
Speaking on the topic of kids, Kim who shares children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm with her ex-husband, rapper Kanye West says she will not push them to be entrepreneurs.
“I want them to do whatever makes them happy,” Kardashian told the SpringHill Company CEO when asked if she’d be a “momager” like Kris Jenner.
Kim, 44, went on to say, “I already see what they’re into and like the creative energy from them and I kind of can tell maybe where my two older ones are going to go,” Kardashian said. “North, for sure, feels like a creative. Saint feels like a creative. The little ones, Chicago, and Psalm? If you ask Psalm what he wants to do, he wants to be like a truck driver or anything with a truck,” she said. “That’s like been his Halloween costume for like three years.”
“But I definitely see it in North,” Kim went on to say. “And I think that I won’t ever push her to do anything. It’s whatever she finds her passion in. … It’s more about what she cares about.”
