Vicki Gunvalson has Shannon Beador’s back as she slams Alexis Bellino and John Janssen’s relationship: “Ridiculous and thirsty on both of them.”
On December 4th, AllAboutTRH was the first to break the news that Alexis Bellino and John Janssen were officially dating.
Friends of John told AllAboutTRH exclusively that John and Alexis’ relationship is still new, but they both are very happy with where things are heading.
“Alexis got out of a relationship not very long ago, and John has been done with Shannon, so they are both in the same place and have a lot in common, along with mutual friends.”
Now, the OG of the OC, Vicki Gunvalson, is sharing her thoughts on John and Alexis’s relationship.
To start, Vicki Gunvalson shared that John Janssen‘s ex-girlfriend Shannon Beador is NOT happy with his new relationship with Alexis.
“As one of Shanon’s closest friends … I have been in constant communication with her since her relationship with John ended,” Vicki Gunvalson told Celebuzz. “Long term, their break up is the right thing, but it doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt her.”
She added, “I’ll support her and be there for her regardless.”
As for the Real Housewives of Orange County OG, she thinks Alexis and John’s relationship is “gross.”
“For me to see that Alexis — someone I actually had some respect for — would go so low as to date Shannon’s ex? It’s gross,” Vicki said. “It’s low, and it’s not being a girl’s girl.”
The 61-year-old also wonders if Alexis is dating John in an attempt to secure a spot on season 18 of RHOC.
“It also reeks of desperation to return to the show as she probably is hoping this will stir the pot and secure her spot,” she spilled. “It makes one question why John would want to date another Housewife. Is he also fame-hungry and wanting to remain on TV? We all know the answer!”
Vicki Gunvalson admitted that seeing John and Alexis’ relationship play out in the media hasn’t been easy, especially for Shannon.
“Either way, it’s truly hard to see the public photos all over the internet,” she said. “If he has any ounce of class, he should quietly date her and stop with all the public humiliation. I will gladly be by Shannon’s side to defend her and support her through this in any way I can.”
The Coto Insurance founder wrapped up by slamming Alexis for purposely doing something she knew would truly hurt Shannon.
“I am a big supporter of being there for your girls, and what Alexis is doing is downright gross,” she said. “You know how bad this would hurt her, and you did it anyways. What happened to being religious and righteous? None of this speaks to that.”
“Sad to say I’m disappointed in both of them is an understatement,” Vicki Gunvalson concluded.
RHOC will return for season 18 in 2024.
