The Hawkeye spin-off Echo is set to be the first show released under the Marvel Spotlight banner. A new photo from the series reveals a new look at Wilson Fisk and Maya Lopez.
Echo seems to be taking fans to places nobody would have expected. The Marvel Spotlight spin-off is set to be one of the darkest projects in the Marvel Cinematic Universe to date. A photo has been released ahead of the project’s premiere next month giving fans their best look yet at Wilson Fisk and Maya Lopez reuniting after the events of Hawkeye:
Unlike when they last met in Hawkeye, it seems Maya Lopez and Wilson Fisk are on relatively good terms. Whether that remains true throughout the rest of the Marvel Spotlight series is, of course, yet to be seen. Though given how good what fans have seen so far of the MCU spin-off has been, Echo is shaping up to be a refreshing treat!
Echo is set to debut early next year on Disney Plus, with every episode of the show being released at once. This makes it the first MCU project on Disney Plus to follow the Netflix binge model of releasing all of the episodes on the same day.
Alaqua Cox’s Hawkeye spinoff series will be the tenth overall original Marvel Studios series for Disney Plus. It’s also one of two live-action spin-offs from a previous series — the other being the WandaVision offshoot Agatha: Coven of Chaos.
Serving as executive producers on Echo are Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Brad Winderbaum, Stephen Broussard, Richie Palmer, Marion Dayre, and Jason Gavin, while Amy Rardin, Sydney Freeland, Christina King, and Jennifer Booth will serve as co-executive producers.
