ENA recently released the Moon in the Day episode 13 trailer. Starring Kim Young-Dae and Pyo Ye-Jin, the K-drama that started as a tragic love story may now have a happy ending.

At the end of episode 12, Do Ha (Kim Young-Dae) manages to stop Kang Young-Hwa (Pyo Ye-Jin) from ending her life. Following this, the two have a heartfelt reunion and confess their feelings for each other. Interestingly, at this point, the duo even shares their first kiss.

The recently released Moon in the Day episode 13 trailer shows them sharing happy couple moments. Although trouble is still looming large over them, Do Ha promises her that their ending will not be tragic this time.

The trailer begins with Do Ha (Kim Young-Dae) and Young-Hwa (Pyo Ye-Jin) enjoying life as a happy couple. He says, “I promise you that our ending will not be tragic this time around.” Meanwhile, Chul Han, possessed by Do Ha’s evil father, So Ri-Bu, plans to destroy Young-Hwa’s talisman. For context, he tried killing her in episode 12, but her talisman protected her. He revealed that he was the one killing her in all her previous lives and intended to do so this time as well.

In the preview of Moon in the Day episode 13, Young-Hwa confronts Chul-Hwan and says, “I may die, but it’ll never be by your hands.” The video further shows Do Ha trying to find ways to kill the evil spirit of So Ri-Bu. Old monk Bhante tells him, “The answer lies between the reason you remained here and his [So Ri-Bu] obsession.” As such, it appears that Young-Hwa is the key to breaking the curse.

Watch K-drama Moon in the Day episodes on ENA and Viki.
