Well, it’s safe to say that Charlamagne tha God will not be voting for Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential election… the well-respected radio and talk show recently came up with an interesting and hilarious suggestion for President Biden this Christmas season.
While filling in as the guest host of Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show” on Wednesday, Charlamagne urged Biden to deliver the “ultimate Christmas gift” to America by dropping out of the race. Charlamagne, 45, cited Biden’s old age and poor polling for reasons he isn’t the best person to beat former President Donald Trump this time around.
The point is, we don’t need Biden to beat Donald Trump — just like we didn’t need RBG to stay on the court. Maybe if RBG had retired during the Obama years, we’d still have Roe v. Wade. Maybe,” Charlamagne told his audience. “People said, ‘No, she needs to be there to protect Roe,’ and now look, both of them are gone.”“It’s true, they’re both gone,” he added. “See, the facts are: Biden’s not getting any younger, he’s not going to get any more popular, and he’s not getting a new running mate.” He went on to say,
“So please Mr. President, give America the ultimate Christmas gift and step aside,” Charlamagne continued. “I want Biden stepping in to beat Trump the way I want him stepping in to defend me at a bar fight…I appreciate you caring, but I don’t like our chances.”
Why Is Biden’s Age Such A Concern For The 2024 Presidential Election:
As the 2024 presidential election looms, one topic that has garnered significant attention is President Joe Biden’s age. At 82 years old, he would be the oldest president in U.S. history if he were to seek and win re-election. While age should not be the sole determining factor in evaluating a candidate’s suitability for office, many have expressed it is a legitimate concern that deserves careful consideration.
One of the primary concerns surrounding President Biden’s age is his health and stamina. The demands of the presidency are immense, requiring long hours, extensive travel, and the ability to make critical decisions under immense pressure. As individuals age, their physical and mental capabilities may naturally decline. While President Biden has shown resilience and vigor thus far, there is a valid concern about whether he can sustain the demanding nature of the presidency for another four years.
Vice President Kamala Harris recently weighed in on this topic and defended the President. She said,
“I would say that age is more than a chronological fact,’ Harris said in response. I spend a whole lot of time with our president, be it in the Oval Office or the Situation Room and in other places. Not only is he absolutely authoritative in rooms around the globe, but in the Oval Office, meeting with members of Congress, meeting with leaders in industry, meeting with community leaders, I will tell you that he is in front of often everyone in the room in terms of thinking about how we can resolve issues.”
